Cape
May Forum fosters the transformative power of ideas and the arts in America’s first seaside resort. The Forum seeks
inspiration through an educated and engaged exploration of socially-relevant issues, in concert with outstanding presenters
and cultural partners.
In 2012 we looked to the “Future of Energy” on June 2-3, 2012, and considered how energy consumption changed over the last century. We explored our dependence on imported fuels
and the environmental concerns involving domestic production of nuclear, coal, and natural gas. We considered how
we should act collectively to solve our problems and find innovative new directions to determine the quality of life
on our planet for coming generations.
